The Church of St Mary the Virgin, Greta Henny sits on top of a headland with commanding views over the Stour Valley. The two lower stages of the tower are late 11th or 12th century: the rest of the church was rebuilt during the the middle 14th century.

St Mary's is a registered Small Place of Pilgrimage.
