YOUNG PEOPLE’S ACTIVITIES

Sunday Club
Children are welcome and provided for, every Sunday at the 10.30am Parish Eucharist. Children are invited to go to the Sacristy for part of the service, where they are given appropriate teaching.


There is also a children’s corner at the back of the church, where there are books, worksheets, and pens for children to use during the service if they would like to.

On the 3rd Sunday of the month there is no Sunday Club, but children are invited to take an active part in the service, reading the prayers and lessons and serving.

Junior Church
This provision is for children aged 7-11yrs, and takes place in the church hall (next to the Library in Church Street). They meet during term time every Thursday evening 6-7pm. The purpose is to explore the Christian teaching through craft, games, music and various other activities. There is an annual weekend camp at Holt Hall during the summer.


Saint Andrew’s Seniors (S.A.S.)
This provision is for children and teenagers aged 11-18yrs.
They meet on the 2nd Sunday of the month, 7-8.30pm.
It is an adult-led social, church group. The activities include indoor hockey, ten-pin bowling, swimming, barbecues on the beach, etc.


Family Get-Together
A short, informal, family service takes place on the first Sunday of the month at 4.30pm, and lasts for half an hour. Tea is served in the church hall after the service.
