Every Sunday at 3pm we get together at St. Francis for an All Age worship which takes around 45 minutes and involves both traditional and modern worship songs and hymns, a short talk, prayer and activities for children of all ages.
We believe that God works in everyone's life and we want to celebrate that in a worshipping community recognising each other’s diverse gifts and joining together to show the love of God to the area we serve. We spend time with each other in social settings as well as trips to ‘Greenbelt’ each year.
We hold a House Group every Tuesday to look deeper in the Bible and our faith and ways to live it out in the world and we have close links with the Local Salvation Army Centre.
The Community Church also runs a monthly youth service for the over 10’s called Something else, and our youth fellowship called ‘Frankie’s Fellowship (Only here for the cake)’ which helps the younger Christians at St. Francis to explore their faith, have fun and.....eat cake!
We have a variety of activities that happen during the week as the Community Centre is well used. These include mums and tots groups, community cafe, youth club, scouts and guides, excersise classes. The centre is also available to hire for parties, meetings etc. please look at our website, www.stfranciscom.co.uk
