Hockering, St Michael dates from the 1200s but is still young at heart. 2015 saw the completion of two major building and conservation works which  took seven years in the planning and execution.

We are a friendly church and keen to welcome anyone who would like to join us for our Sunday services, including families with children.

Regular Sunday services - see services tab for more information.

Do you have a special prayer request?  Then let us know - either post it in the special prayer box in the church or contact the Benefice Church Office 01362 858873.

Local fundraising continues.  Without the support of our village community we would not be able to undertake repair projects to ensure our church will be available for generations to come.  We have regular family-friendly coffee morning most months in the Village Hall.  These are popular and are an enjoyable social event.  Please see our calender for the dates.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

Our joint patrons are:

  • The Prayer Book Society. Gonville and Caius College Cambridge. The Bishop of Norwich. The Norwich Diocesan Board of Patronage.
