Open Air Service in Jervaulx Abbey grounds with the Bedale Brass Band at 7.00 pm.  PLEASE BRING A CHAIR, AND UMBRELLA, WATERPROOFS OR WARM CLOTHING AS THE DAY REQUIRES

¨ CHRISTIAN AID WEEK SERVICE

Sunday 18th May,  6.30 pm at St Gregory’s, Crakehall.  

The Bedale District Christian Aid Committee tries to arrange a UNITED SERVICE FOR CHRISTIAN AID WEEK  in a different parish of our collecting area each year, and this year the Service will be held at St Gregory’s Church, Crakehall, on Sunday 18th May at 6.30 p.m.  The speaker will be Simon Stretton-Downes.   All will be very welcome.

BURNS NIGHT at HACKFORTH

The Burns Night  at Hackforth Village Hall on 25th Jan was a very enjoyable and very successful event,  raising £899 for the Church Tower Appeal. 

£100 was given to the village hall, and the piper had his fee sent to the Bethesda Hospice, Stornoway, so altogether over £1000 was raised for charity.
