The medieval parish church of St Mary The Virgin is situated approximately a quarter of a mile west of the Huntingfield village centre (population less than 200). It has a unique painted ceiling, the work of a former Rector’s wife. We have recently renewed the electrical wiring and installed pew heating and are now accumulating funds to repair some structural items, clean the ceiling paintings and redecorate the whole.
the choir of between seven and twelve singers sing at all services. The choir is used for special services in the other Benefice Parishes. Reader Emeritus Paul Griffin takes morning prayer and assists at Communion services.
The tower has a peal of 5 bells and a team of ringers.
There are 17 on the electoral roll, and 10 members of the P.C.C.
