St George's Hyde

Welcome! We are a friendly local church situated on Church Street Hyde SK14 1JZ. We are committed to following Jesus as we find him in the Bible. We try to provide worship which suits every age group. We offer a traditional service at 9.15am, and a family service is the 10.45am service, both services alternate between Morning Prayer/Morning Worship and Communion.

On the first Sunday of the month we have a joint service at 10.45am. There is always refreshments and a time of fellowship after both of our services.

During with week we have events going on both at St George's and our sister church in the parish, St Thomas's on Lumn Road.  

We also host "Bread and butter" on Friday afternoons- this is an independent food provision initiative.

We are focused on serving our community of Hyde and Godley.

Traditional worship at 9.15am

Every Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth Sunday at for 1 hour

On the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th Sunday at 9:15am, we have our more Traditional Morning Prayer and Holy Communion services, are generally quieter and include more traditional hymns usually accompanied by our organ. Holy Communion is usually celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month.
