There has been a church in Ickleton for over a thousand years. We are the latest generation to serve God here. In the early 21st century, the ancient cycle of praise continues, always new.
At the heart of what we do stand the two great commandments of Jesus Christ: to love God with heart, soul, mind and strength; and to love our neighbour. We exist to glorify our Creator, to pray for others, and to seek practical ways, however small, to make the world a better and a kinder place.
What we’re here for --
To delight and inspire young minds. To help mark the great moments of life, both joyful and sorrowful. To find grace and meaning in the regular progress of days and weeks, months and years. To comfort the afflicted. To guide the perplexed. To visit the sick. To welcome the curious. To challenge the complacent. To offer aid in crisis. To see Christ in every face. To enjoy each other.
