The redundant church of Saint Giles within the abandoned village of Imber is now vested with the Churches Conservation Trust.

The site is within the Salisbury Plain Military Training area and so is rarely accessible to members of the public.

Services are normally held on the first Saturday in September, when Saint Giles' Church can then be reached via the Bratton-Heytesbury or Gore Cross-Warminster roads (the opening of the Military Zone is notified through the local press and on signs clearly visible before the vedette posts are reached.

Visitors are reminded that they MUST remain on the metalled road at all times due to the danger of unexploded military debris.
