St. Paul's is a relatively modern and distinctive church building. Built in 1965 it is eight-sided with a crowning cupola containing the bell. It stands just below the highest point of the City of Leeds. Internally it has a large unobstructed worship area with seating for over 300 people.
The church serves a large parish comprising mostly post-war housing both social and private. There are three primary and one high school in the parish, also the Holt Park Centre comprising supermarket, shops and leisure centre.

Family Communion
This is a service of Holy Communion for everyone. It lasts about 45 minutes and includes Prayer, Praise and teaching. The music is provided by the St Paul's First Sunday Band. Coffee, tea, fruit squash and biscuits are served in the adjoinging church hall after the service.

St. Paul's Church, Ireland Wood and Tinshill : Raynel Drive, off Otley Old Road, Church is easily seen from Otley Old Road at the junction of Raynel Approach. To access the church turn into Raynel Approach then first right into Raynel Drive. The entrance to the church is 100 yards along on the right and the car park is a further 50 yd, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS16 6BS
