
1966 - 67 Lady Chapel. 12 hassocks for the pews and a long kneeler for the Communion Rail were given and worked by Mrs Hathway Jones. She also worked 2 small hassocks.
1971 - 72 62 hassocks were made for the main part of the Church. About 35 people were involved in the actual needlework and others gave support in several ways.
1974 - 75 5 long kneelers for the Communion Rail were commissioned by Mrs Crandle in memory of her husband Edgar, who was a Church Warden from 1955 - 71. These kneelers were made in 5 pieces so that as many people as possible could share the work.
1979 - 80 2 cushions and matching hassocks for chairs in the Sanctuary;
2 hassocks for the Churchwardens’ pews;
A hassock for the Litany desk;
These items were sponsored by various people as Memorials.
1981 - 82 Choir stall cushions. 8 long cushions were made for the choir stalls and a small pad for the organ bench.
1987 - 88 24 kneelers were made for the St Christophers Chapel. Several kneelers were sponsored as memorials and generous donations covered the entire cost.
During this period a pair of wedding kneelers were also made by Major and Mrs Edwards and a double wedding hassock was made and presented by Mrs Wardle Harper.
1996 - 1997 16 kneelers were made for the Lady Chapel. Again several kneelers were sponsored as memorials and generous donations covered almost the entire cost.
2004 Choir stall cushions. Long cushions were made for the rear choir stalls and donated in memory of the Reverend Donald Westcott (Rector) and Mrs Jenny Brown (organist).
