St Francis is a friendly and lively church situated in a 1950s estate on the edge of the village of Hassocks.It is part of a larger parish which has 2 other churches each with a different tradition. It's a modern family church with family communion services 3 out of 4 Sundays a month, staring at 9.45am.  The music at all our services is led by a piano and/or music group.

The other service (2nd Sundays) is a non eucharistic family service which is suitable for all ages. We serve breakfast in the hall from 9.45am on these weeks, and the service in Church begins at 10.15am and lasts about 40 minutes, with a variety of presentation modes used to put the Christian message across. 

Coffee is served in the hall after each service in order to help us to get to know each other better and to support each other.
There is a Junior Church for children between the ages of 3 and 16 for 3 Sundays a month , the other Sunday they worship in church. There are 3 groups, divided by age, so that children can learn at their appropriate level. The children join with those of the other churches within the parish for special events.

The Church has a daytime bible study group and has in the past organised Alpha Courses

During 2007 we raised around £1000 for St Francis hospital in a village in Zambia. This was to help them to reopen and equip a ward for malnourished children. A member of our congregation who is a consultant paediatrician has spent time in the country mainly Lusaka as Sussex County Hospital have training links there.
