The Institution, Induction and Installation of the Revd. James Stickings, as Rector, took place on Thursday, 29 September, 2016. Contact details may be found under "About the Parish".

St John the Baptist is a church in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England, with a partly sung Eucharist led by a choir [see Friday events]. We sponsor the neighbouring church-aided primary school, which is popular and successful. We worship in a Victorian stone church set in a lovely country churchyard.

We are one of two churches in our parish [see link to the daughter church - Christ the King, in Sonning Common], and part of a united benefice with Rotherfield Peppard.

For further information about the Clergy and our parish magazine, see the "About the Parish" link, on this page.

On this page, you will also find a link to our Parish website.

Our Parish Mission Statement - The Church is People! Strengthened by Word and Sacrament, and our Fellowship together, Members of this Church, individually and collectively, seek to promote the Mission of the Church: To offer worship. To proclaim the Gospel of Christ. To make known the love of God - by deed as well as word. To make the world a better place, according to God's will. To demonstrate the love of God and our neighbour.
