Smeaton Church serves the local communities of Kirk Smeaton and Little Smeaton, as well as wedding couples from further afield. It is a beautiful Norman Church but has a modern and very effective heating system. It makes an ideal venue for your wedding or special celebration event.

Regular Services

Sunday

Sunday Service
A simple friendly service with coffee served on the 1st Sunday of the month, in our warm church with tables and chairs in the north aisle, and traditional pews elsewhere. Members of all Christian Churches are welcome to join us ofr each service.
Every first second third and fourth Sunday at 9:15 AM for ¾ hour

Sunday Service
a Benefice service on the 5th Sunday of the month, when we meet at one of the 4 benefice churches at 10am. Check the webpage for details.
Every fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 55 minutes

Evensong
a very traditional service of BCP evensong with our benefice choir, from Darrington and Womersley.
Occasionally a service of Advent Carols replaces BCP for the first week in December. every first Sunday at 6:30 PM for ¾ hour
