Magnificent  Victorian church restored  in 2010. Main feature early 20th Century painted rood screen with images from the life of Christ. Also St. George's Chapel featuring the Lakenham War Memorial. Following restoration work the Lady Chapel  now has a twofold purpose, the front part is a warm and comfortable meeting room/quiet/reading space, the eastern end of the chapel is set out as a chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. The west end of the church includes a cloakroom, kitchen and equipped family/children's room.

Worship style - contemporary Anglo Catholic with vestments and incense. Occasional informal services.

The church is open for visiting, prayer, quiet, a hot drink on Wednesdays between 11.30 am and 2.30 pm.   Always a friendly welcome.
