We hope you will worship with us, or just visit our beautiful building, which is often open during daylight hours

A service of Holy Communion (Common Worship) is held at 9 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Occasionally there are evening service. usually with plenty of singing.

(On the 1st and 3rd Sundays in the month 9 a.m. Holy Communion is at St Mary's Ennerdale; 1st - 4th Sundays there is a service of some kind at Kirkland Mission Church at 11 a.m. If there is a 5th Sunday in the month, a Methodist communion service (but using Anglican wine) is held at one of the churches at 10.30 a.m.)


Safeguarding notice

Lamplugh, Kirkland and Ennerdale local ecumenical partnership has adopted the national Church of England / Diocesan Safeguarding Policy and the Church council receives regular reports on safeguarding from our Parish Safeguarding Adviser. A hard copy of our Safeguarding Policy is displayed in all three churches. Ennerdale and Lamplugh churches are normally open during reasonable daylight hours. If you have any concerns, please contact the Parish Safeguarding Officer, whose contact details are listed in the policy, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, Joanna Van Lachterop, on 07458 016884 [email protected] If you believe a child to be at immediate risk you must contact Cumberland Children’s Services 0333 240 1727 or the Police. Urgent concerns about vulnerable adults should be referred to Cumberland Council single point of access 0300 373 3732 or, out of normal office hours, the Emergency Duty Team 01228 526690, or the Police.
