We are a small, friendly church with the motto "Growing the Family of God in Lawrence Weston". Situated right near the main shops, we seek to share the love of Jesus in the local community through our links with the local schools, the 'Rock' Community project (which uses our church hall), our children's activities and our link with the North Bristol Foodbank.
Our church building is a modern, welcoming structure with beautiful stained glass. We have recently removed a few of our pews so that we have room for activities for children and refreshments in the church itself. The foundations for St Peter's were laid in 1962 to replace a temporary structure, fondly known as the 'Jelly Mold.' This year we are celebrating the 50th year of the new building with various events.
