We are a mission minded Bible teaching church in the market town of Lechlade. As the Parish Church for the town, St. Lawrence has strong links to the community and welcomes visitors. We offer a wide variety of worship in different traditions and styles.

Regular Services

Sunday

Holy Communion
Book of Common Prayer, said service.
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 35 minutes

Parish Communion
Modern language service with mixture of traditional and modern music. Expository style of preaching, around 15-20 mins. Choir.
Every first third and fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour

Family Service
All Age Worship involving activity, talk, songs and hymns. Music Group.
Every second Sunday at 10:00 AM for ¾ hour

Service of the Word
Modern language service with mixture of traditional and modern music. Expository style of preaching, around 15-20 mins. Choir.
Every fourth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour

Choral Evensong
Full Prayer Book Evensong with robed choir, variety of settings. Expository approach to preaching, about 10-15 mins.
Said Evening Prayer during major holidays every first third and fourth Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour

Sung Eucharist
Holy Communion, traditional language, Merbecke setting, hymns and robed choir. Expository preaching style, 10-15 mins
Every second Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour

Healing Service
Informal act of worship in Celtic style, with opportunity to receive prayer for healing.
Every fifth Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour

All Age Youth Service
A lively, informal service aimed at young people and the young at heart. Biblical message. Contemporary worship and praise music. Attended by people of all ages. Held in the Lechlade Methodist Church building.
Every last Sunday at 7:15 PM for 1 hour

Anoint
Youth Group for secondary school age children
Every third Sunday at 7:30 PM for 1½ hours

Monday

Little Lights
Friendly fortnightly interactive worship and play for pre-school children and their carers
Fortnightly, Term time only every first third and fifth Monday at 10:00 AM for 40 minutes
