This is one of the historic churches in Leeds dating from Georgian times. It has a long tradition of support both for the arts and for the homeless in Leeds.
At present it offers a weekly service, usually of Holy Communion on Tuesdays and Fridays.
A recent initiative has seen the church being adapted in order to offer facilities for the development of an Arts Centre. Many groups of musicians, artists, sculptors and dramatists have begun to use the building and the appointment of an Arts Development Director and an Arts Administrator will further the work and development of the project.
Leeds city Council is rebuilding the surrounding area, creating new shops, restaurants and other facilities – this will become known as the Trinity Quarter.
