St. Mark's church is considered a fine example or a small "Arts & Craft" building, opened in 1908. It has a fine Barrel ceiling and terracotta features.
By Tradtion St. Mark's Church is a typical "Lancashire low" church, with a small friendly congregation, seeking to serve God in the East Levenshulme Area, the area traditionally called Talyrand.
