St Mary the Virgin, Lindsell stands in the middle of the parish, completely surrounded by the buildings and land of Lindsell Hall.
It is built of flint and pebble rubble, the tower being partly brick and the dressings of limestone and clunch.
Parts of it date back to the 12th century. The chancel and the opening to the anchorite cell which is on its North wall are 13th century as is the East window, which still contains beautiful fragments of glass from that date.
There is a commemorative brass of Thomas and Agnes Fytch on the pavement before the chancel arch.
We have weekly worship at 9.30am every Sunday with Holy Communion twice a month.
Our services include modern hymns and contemporary expressions of worship style. We have occasional Healing and Taize Services.
