Hymns are lead by the church organ using Mission Praise, Spring Harvest, Church Family Worship or Church Hymnal. There are no sung responses or psalms.

Following morning services there is time for fellowship and coffee in the church centre.

Lay people regularly participate in the services, leading intercessions, reading lessons and assisting with the distribution of communion.

Meeting and greeting people as they arrive for a service is very important to us, making sure everyone has the appropriate resources to follow the services.

Once a quarter the family service team take the first family service of the month. This is a group of five lay adults, three young people and the lay reader in training who together create and lead the service. St Peters is best described as open evangelical.

Special services include Remembrance and Christingle Services, which are well supported by the village. An annual bereavement service was started to cater for the needs of people who would like to remember loved ones. This is now a regular event with 120 people attending the last service.
