CELEBRATION
of Local Talents held at
ST PETER'S CHURCH LINGWOOD
on
SATURDAY, 13th SEPTEMBER, 2008
A enjoyable day was had by all celebrating local gifts and talents from across the benefice. There were displays from the Brownies, Lingwood schools, BADCOG, Knitting group, Lingwood Quilters, and craft exhibits. Competition in all events was very high and included arts and crafts, horticulture, flower arranging, painting (all media), culinary skills and photography , rounding the day off with an auction of produce.

The event also raised in the region of £877 !!!, which will be split between Lingwood church repair fund and Lingwood Village Hall.
