We are the parish church of Linthwaite, Huddersfield, which includes Cowlersley, Broad Oak, The Clough, part of Blackmoorfoot, and part of Milnsbridge.
You will find a warm welcome here! Our services are mostly quite traditional, with a choir for our main Sunday services, but the service remains sufficiently relaxed for everyone to find space to be themselves and feel a part of our community.
The morning service, normally on the first Sunday of each month, is an All Age Service, designed to have a wider family appeal.
Our Eucharist uses the contemporary pattern provided for the Church of England, while our Evensong is traditional Book of Common Prayer (BCP).
We have a Junior Church each Sunday morning (at the same time as the main 11 am service). Experienced adult leaders help the children to have a great time exploring the basics of the Christian faith - it is often messy with lots of glue, paint and sparkly stuff! The kids have a great time!
We also offer a wonderful venue for weddings with lovely grounds for the important photos! Baptism (Christening) too is an important family occasion - please contact us for details.
Whoever you are, we welcome you. If you have any special needs, please let us know and we will do all we can to make you welcome. Please come along...we look forward to seeing you!
