Welcome to the parish Church of St. Matthew, Little Lever. A Parish Church in the Anglican Diocese of Manchester.

We strive to be an open and welcoming community seeking to serve God through worship and witness. We are committed to mission and constantly seek new ways of proclaiming the Gospel to those around us.

Parish Sung Mass with Sermon

Sunday Club meets at 10:00am in Church House and joins us at the Offertory.

Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1½ hours

Christmas Eve Service at the Crib

A short service for children and families on Christmas Eve at 6pm. There will be familiar carols and readings and the crib will be blessed. Part of the service will take place in candlelight. It is a very popular event and the church will be full. Do join us. You will be most welcome. It is a good way to begin the Christmas season.

Christmas Eve Midnight Mass

Sung Mass of Christmas and blessing of the Crib. Midnight Mass is one of the services that marks the start of our celebration of the season of Christmas each year. The entire service takes place by candle light, which makes it a special and memorable occassion each year.

Christmas Day Parish Mass

A service involving the lighting of the last White Advent candle to mark Christ's birth.
