Christ Church currently meets at a local primary school and offers a relaxed, friendly and happy atmosphere. We are a small but growing church and all are made welcome. The congregation is genuinely all age, our youngest regular worshipper is a tiny baby and our oldest into their 90s - with a breadth in between.
Our Sunday gatherings are designed to help all ages worship God, engage with His word and grow in our relationship with Him, ready to go out into the world in love and service.
Our shared faith is central to our life together, it is our reason for being and it is our motivation for all that we seek to be and do.
During the week we serve the community and meet as a church at Christ Church Community Centre, in school & in partnership with our friends at neighbouring churches. We love to share together in our growing faith as well as serve others through school and community involvement.

Sunday
BCP (Traditional Language) Service
On most 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, we hold a Book of Common Prayer service at 9am. This takes a pattern of alternating between Holy Communion and Morning Prayer. All are welcome to join us for this service, which tends to have an adult congregation. On 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays each month as well as special Sundays throughout the year this congregation joins together with the 1030am congregation and everybody worships together.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 9:00 AM for 35 minutes

Sunday Worship
Each Sunday we gather together to worship God. Whilst every Sunday is different, all our services are All Age friendly, with some services designed for all ages to worship together and others include Sunday Club ~ our gathering for school aged children. We also have an area equipped for preschool children and their carers. We begin the month with All Age Worship, the second and fourth Sundays are usually Holy Communion and the third, Morning Worship sometimes including baptisms. If there's a fifth Sunday in the month, we do something different ~ it's often a service with prayer for healing. We use a screen and projector during services which we've found to especially useful for those with sight difficulties. The building is also fully accessible for wheelchair users and is equipped with a disabled toilet. Fair trade tea and coffee are served after all our services.

Fellowship Groups
We gather at homes in fairly small groups to get to know one another better, worship God, think and chat a little more about Sunday's sermon, pray and encourage one another to love and serve God in our daily lives. The group meets most weeks (except in August), there's often an abundance of chat, time for reflection and a real sense of sharing with one another as we journey on in faith. We encourage all members of the congregation to get involved in one of these groups.

Tuesday
Midweek fellowship Group at Church Centre
This group of adults are fairly new to the Christian faith and are unpacking just what it means to be a Christian and what Christians believe. It's a great place for those who've begun to explore some of these questions ~ the members of the group really value a safe place to ask the questions that most niggle, or to chat through the issues they have about Christianity.
Every Tuesday at 9:45 AM for 1 hour and 45 minutes. until Friday 23rd March 2012

Wednesday
Knit and Natter
Knit and Natter meets every Wednesday in school term time to knit prem baby clothes for Liverpool Women's Hospital and others, whilst chatting over a cuppa. As the items are so tiny they are quick to knit and some items are really very simple. Help is at hand from our more experienced knitters who enjoy sharing their skills. It's a great way to spend a morning and use your skills for a good cause. And there's lots of fun and laughter too!
