Our Summer Playscheme this year has been a great success.  Thank you to all the families and to their children who were a great credit to them!  Also a big thank you to all the volunteers and staff - they've been brilliant!

Over the 3 weeks we had 212 children registered from over 20 local primary schools.  We included in this year's playscheme activities like mask making, table games, rounders, bouncy castle, parachute games, face painting, recycling activities, fire engine visit as well as trips to Camelot and Farmer Ted's Farm.  We thoroughly enjoyed it all ~ and the evaluations from children and family show they our local community loved it too!

In 2010 we will hope to secure funding to run the playscheme again.  However, the playscheme wouldn't run without the support of our trained and committed volunteers.  Please get in touch if you're able and wanting to get involved - training and checking takes some time, so sign up as early as possible!
