Welcome to the web site, I trust that you will find it informative and encouraging. The Church in the Parish of SS. Mary and Chad is certainly alive and well. I hope that you will be impressed with our programme of activities, and even be encouraged to join us for some of them.

 

Christianity is a way of life, and at SS. Mary and Chad we make no distinction between our worship and our social life, indeed I often feel that it’s the joy that we experience together in our informal moments that drags us to our knees in worship and thanksgiving (eucharist).

 

Our regular congregation is made up of a very diverse bunch of people of all ages, I am bound to say that children and young people are particularly welcome, to the extent of a toy box and play area being provided at the west end. Not only is the congregation diverse in age groups but in people from every walk of life and different stages on their Christian pilgrimage. The long standing members of the congregation recognize that new members have got gifts to bring, and we encourage all to give of their time and talents in the extension of Gods kingdom on earth.

 

I hope that you will feel encouraged to, at least, pay us a visit and any suggestions that you may have to improve our web site would be very welcome indeed.
