L'Oasis is registered as a " Fresh Expression of Church". On the second Sunday of the month we meet in our home Arc-en-Provence at 11.15am,and welcome people of all backgrounds and none. On the fourth Sunday we go up to village where we have a family communion, in the chapel at the Notre Dame des Anges at 11.45am. This followed by a " Bring your own" picnic lunch. Drinks are provided. On both occasions coffee is available before the service, so come early for a chat and to meet a few folk.
The lunch table is the focal point for sharing but before this we gather to break bread together,share scripture, reflect on it,and pray for our community and the the needs of the world. Our focus is on encouraging fellowship and sharing the gospel through action and pastoral care. We seek to be a place of healing and growth and simply offer ourselves and our home for the Lord to use. We seek to be "church" without walls, Christ centered, people focused and Spirit led.
