St. James Church is one of the 3 churches that are part of the Maghull parish. St. James Church is adjacent to Green Park and St. John Bosco schools on green lane Maghull. We are a friendly informal church. All are very welcome.

St James has been awarded a child friendly award.

The Child Friendly Church Award Scheme was
created to help churches consider how they "welcome
and integrate children and their families into the worshipping life of their church".


St James has also been awarded an Eco-Congregation award.

Eco-congregation aims to encourage churches to celebrate the gift of God's creation and to care for it in their life and mission and through members' personal lifestyles.



The church also has an active social programme to suit all.
