St Lawrence's Church in Mereworth is a thriving and growing church in a semi-rural village.  As well as traditional BCP services (Mattins and Communion), we use Common Worship for all our family services, and there is a large Children's Choir with 29 children on the register and a dedicated children's Choirmaster.

The church gather every sunday at 9.30 with refreshments served after every service.

The Church does not currently have an organist, following the retirement of Derek Wallis in September 2016, and so we benefit from many locum musicians who bring their talent and skill.  the church is looking for a new organist and choir-master, so if you would like to apply please come to a church service and make yourself known to the Church Wardens - you may wish to bring your CV or letter of introduction when you come.

The church welcomes all, from new babies to elderly grandparents, married or single, homeless or heeled.  We come togehter before God with all our failings and skills, and kneel before His presence alongside each other.
