The church is located on the north side of Mansfield Drive within a large housing estate constructed by the London County Council during the 1950's.The church is sited close to the south boundary adjacent Mansfield Road and so arranged that the east-west axis is set perpendicularly to it. It shares the site with the parsonage house which is set well back from the road on one side.
It comprises a nave and chancel, south aisle, south porch and, further east, a Lady Chapel and beyond that lavatories, an entrance lobby to the hall and a small kitchen. On the north east side is a clergy vestry, lavatory and store.
