Festival

Following a serious fire in August 1959 the church was badly damaged. Restoration took place and the church reopened in 1964. To celebrate the fact the St Botolph's chrch remains open and in regular use for the community following this tragic fire, a Flower festival is being held on August 8th and 9th (2009). There will be an exhibition of memorabillia and an evening concert on 8th August.

A special service with the Lord Bishop of Norwich (The Rt Revd Graham James) present is being held at 10am on Sunday 9th August 2009, all are welcome, particularly members of the congregation and choir from the days of the fire and the reopening in 1964.
