St Mark's is a family friendly congregation. Offering weekly Eucharistic worship which has a growing sense of informality and a variety of musical styles. We have an active teaching programme with midweek groups including a group for people in their 20' & 30's. We are prayerfully seeking ways to reach out and be a light in our surrounding community and put much energy into working with families. This is seen through our Toddler group, Mini-Music, regular toddler services, our links with local schools, and children's after-school and holiday clubs.
Our teaching for children is based on Godly Play and for young people we use material from the "Urban Saints" resource.

St Mark’s Mission Statement:
Guided by the light of Christ, St Mark’s seeks to be a community of faith, rooted in prayer, grounded in love and led by the Holy Spirit. We do this by:
•Growing in our knowledge of God’s Word and his ways.
•Encouraging and empowering all people, young and old, to know the love of God in their lives.
•Showing hospitality to all.
•Working closely with other churches and the wider community.
We do all this in the name and the strength of Jesus Christ.
