The Parent & Toddler Group is a social group for pre-school children and their carers, and meets during term time on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10.00 am to 11.30 am in the Community Hall.  The group provides an opportunity for parents to meet together, and for the children to learn how to interact with other children of their age group.

There are opportunities for craft activities, with a painting table, colouring table with felt pens, and playdough table. The home corner is equipped with a large variety of kitchen equipment, dolls, prams and cots, tea sets and play food. There is also a shopping area, with a till and supermarket baskets and trolley, a fully equipped work-bench, and a garage with toy cars.

There is plenty of scope for the livelier children with ride-on and sit-on toys, plus a slide and sit-on rockers. For babies, there is a dedicated baby area, with bouncing chairs, baby gym and an abundance of baby toys. A baby change unit is also available.

Each session finishes with song-time, when the children join in with action songs.

Fees are £2 per family per session, which includes tea or coffee and biscuits for adults, and juice and biscuits for children.
