St Giles’ is a friendly and lively Anglican church at the centre of Newcastle under Lyme. We are a mixed bunch of about 100 people at our main morning service. There are Crèche and Sunday Clubs for 0-15s during the main 10.30 a.m. Sunday morning service and a monthly all age service. On the first Sunday of the month we have 'Messy Church' at 4.00 p.m. which involves crafts, worship and food and is aimed at families. There is a weekly coffee club on Friday morning and a mums and toddlers group, ‘Rainbows’, on Wednesday mornings during term time.
Our aim is to Bring In and see people come to faith in Jesus, Build Up our congregation in that faith and Send Out people to live as Jesus followers and spread the good news.

Sunday
A traditional Book of Common Prayer said Communion Service with a 2-5 minute sermon
Every second and fourth Sunday at 8:00 AM for 35 minutes
A friendly, modern communion serivce with five songs/hymns and a 15 minute sermon. Creche and Sunday clubs available for 0-15s.
Every first third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
An informal service for all ages with lively songs and children's involvement.
Every second Sunday at 10:30 AM for 50 minutes
45 minutes of crafts followed by a short 15 minutes service followed by food. Lots of fun for all the family.
Not in January every first Sunday at 4:00 PM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
A lively informal service held in the hall at the back of church. Modern songs, video clips, dramas and prayer stations are used to make this a creative and relevant service.
Every first Sunday at 7:30 PM for 1 hour
Wednesday
A friendly, relaxed event for 0-5 year olds and thier parents/carers. There is tea, coffee squash, biscuits and toast plus plenty of toys for the children to play with. Good company and a sing song at the end.
Term time only every Wednesday at 9:00 AM for 150 minutes
Oasis Service. A short, lunchtime, informal, communion service. No hymns and a short talk.
Every third Wednesday at 1:10 PM for ½ hour
Friday
Come and unwind at our Coffee Bar. The hall is open for tea, coffee and toast. There are several stalls with items for sale and a bookstall. The church is open for prayer and quiet reflection.
