You are very welcome to St Paul’s, Norden, a Church of England parish church where people have worshipped God for 150 years. 2011 was the 150th Anniversary of the consecration of our church in 1861, but this is a living church.
We continue to grow in Christ, building on and respecting the traditions of the past while looking to the future.

We use a variety of forms of worship — from the ancient and beautiful prose of the Book of Common Prayer right through to modern language services with multimedia support.
The faithful preaching of the Word, and the power of prayer are central to all our services.

============================
If you would like to arrange a Wedding or Baptism (Christening) at St Paul's, please come along to the church and speak to a member of the ministry team after any service.

To contact us about anything else, please see the link on the right.
============================

We have a dedicated and skillful choir to support our worship. New members are always welcome. We also have a young people’s music group to enliven our services even more. We occasionally put on Christian musical productions, and recitals on our new Allen digital organ.

We are a Fair Trade church, and often have a stall after services selling ethical goods.

Whether you enjoy a tramp across moor and mountain, a brisk game of bowls, singing yourself hoarse or just having a chat over a cuppa in good company, there’s something at St Paul’s for you. Talks on everything from Hedgehogs to Antarctica; practical support for the vital work of charities like Christian Aid; visiting neighbours in need; recycling waste paper; quizzes; dances; youth work; mowing the grass; you name it, we probably do it! Why not come and join us? You’re bound to make new friends — and if you forget their name you can always check out the photo gallery in the north aisle.
Stay for coffee after the service and say hello!

Children are very welcome!
We have a thriving Sunday School for children between the ages of 4 and 10 that meets in the Parish Hall every Sunday during term time (unless there is a family service - the children join us in church for that, of course).
There is a play area in church during most services, too, with books and toys for younger children.

The Scout and Guide groups are great fun, too.
There’s no excuse for boredom in Norden!
