The church is a grade 2 building of brick, seating 200 and has a
pipe organ. It has a lady chapel, high altar and a nave altar and
is set in its own grounds. It is located in an area of Victorian
housing to the north of Stockton town centre. There are two
halls; one is the original Mission Church of St Mary’s and is used
by church organizations and let to other users (see Hall lettings
for further details). Worship is Eucharistic at all the main
services and the parish tradition is Anglo-Catholic with
vestments and incense.
Fr Damon Bage is the Parish Priest and his day off is a Saturday.
The worship pattern of the parish has also changed in that we
now have 3 midweek masses and the times of these services
have also changed - please see the services and events tab for
further details.
