We are a very welcoming and sociable family church - we enjoy being together during worship and at social gatherings. We are part of the Parish of South Bradford, but retain our distinct role as a parish church serving the community of Oakenshaw. Our worship uses a mix of traditional and contemporary music led by a small but committed informal choir. There is a Sunday School for children up to the age of 12.
Ministry in the church is led by our own Ministry Team of committed lay folk, guided by the South Bradford Parish Staff Team.
We have a regular luncheon club for pensioners every Friday and good links with Woodlands C. of E Primary School. We hold Morning Prayer at the school every Thursday morning during term times.

Sunday
Held on the 2nd Sunday of each month, we start with breakfast at 8.30am and then move onto an informal time of worship, teaching and discussion, during which top ups of toast and tea, coffee etc remain available. This is very much a family friendly time in a relaxed environment, but everyone is welcome and sharing time over food is a great way to get to know each other. If you've wondered about coming to church, but "don't do church" then this may be for you - why not come along? To help with numbers for catering it would be helpful if you could let Andrew or Chas know you may be coming, but we're not to exact numbers if your decision is made on the morning. Please come and join us.
Every second Sunday at 8:30 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Worship for all the family with special groups for children. Led by a choir, with contemporary and modern music, we offer family Holy Communion based on 'Common Worship' at least twice a month. On the 4th Sunday we have a family service, sometimes with Baptisms.
Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Wednesday
A short time of worship at which all are welcome
Every Wednesday at 9:30 AM for ½ hour
Saturday
Informal coffee and chat time open to all
Every Saturday at 10:30 AM for 1½ hours
