Cutthorpe Institute is a chapel in the parish of Old Brampton (main Sunday service at 9.30 am). The only services that take place here are on the fifth Sunday of the month at 8 am, and on special occasions such as Harvest, Christmas, and the annual blessing of Wells. For more details, see the Old Brampton entry. The nearest church to Cutthorpe, however, is at Barlow (main Sunday service at 11 am), served by the same vicar. The local community uses the Institute as a village hall. There are loos and a kitchen. The Institute is not licensed for weddings.
