Mothers' Union

The Mothers’ Union is a worldwide movement with a million members in 70 countries and is especially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life.

In this country the M.U. is involved in parenting courses, providing holidays for needy families, helping in prison visiting centres, supporting a travelling Play Van which visits the remoter villages in Norfolk, as well as activity in the prayer and spirituality of the members, and raising funds for projects overseas designed to improve conditions for families in various ways.

Local meetings usually take the form of a short opening service followed by a visiting speaker on a variety of topics both sacred and secular.

Here at St Margaret’s, we have an evening MU group which meets at 7.45pm in the Church Hall on the last Monday of each month.

Newcomers are welcome.
