St Peter's Parish Church is located at the heart of the community in Oundle. Its 210 foot spire, the tallest in Northamptonshire can be seen for miles around. There has been Christian worship on this site since the year 709 AD. We are part of the Oundle Benefice which includes St Mary the Virgin at Benefield and St Leonard's at Glapthorn. We offer a rich mixture of worship styles from formal 8am Book of Common Prayer Communion to informal family services and and Worship Band-led 430 Praise. There is lively and growing work among children and young people as well as a very active youth group. Many members of the church family belong to midweek Home Groups and our Pause for Thought programme offers a place for people with questions about the Christian faith. There are extremely close relations with all the churches in Oundle. Anglicans, Catholics, Baptists, Methodists and Quakers frequently worship together, meet together and work together to reach out to the community with the Good News of Jesus.
