St. John's plays host to many Clubs, Groups and Societies including:

Children's Church
The Children's Church meets every Sunday in school term time during the 10am Parish Communion.

Church Choir
Services: Usually every 10 a.m. Sunday service (EXCEPT 2nd Sunday) and Evensong (1st & 3rd Sunday in month).
Practice: Thursday 7 p.m. to approx. 8.30 p.m.

Music Group
Services: 2nd Sunday in the month at the 10 a.m. service
Practice: Friday 7:30 p.m.

St. John-in-Bedwardine Guild of Change Ringers (Bell Ringing)
Practice: Thursday 8.00 p.m. (meet in the church from 7.45pm) New Beginners welcome.

Flower Arranging
Usually meets every Friday morning in the church.

Friendship Group
Meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm; talks, outings, quizzes, parties. For men and women.

Bible Study Fellowship
Meets in the Parish Office (Burroughs’ Room) at 10am every Wednesday for prayer and study.
