Barningham
About our ParishOur church stands in the parkland of Barningham Hall on the outskirts of the village of Matlaske. The church dates from the 14th century. The nave and tower have been inruins since the early 17th century. The present building consits of the 14 century chancel with Victorian additions. The ruined tower contains a unique Victorian steel bell, one of onlt two in the county. The church and its ruins are most picturesque and have been used in recent film and TV recordings.
