About our ParishThe Parish of St Stephen Hammerwood and St Peter Holtye was formed in 1880 shortly after St Stephen's was built.
The Parish was created out of parts of East Grinstead and Hartfield ecclesiastical parishes.

Diocese records are officially held at the West Sussex Records Office in Chichester, however, a lot of information can also be found at the East Sussex Records Office in Lewes.
