Wombridge Parish Church
About our ParishWombridge is one of the older communities in the maturing new town of Telford, situated in the Oakengates area of north-east Telford.
The Parish is almost entirely residential with around 1,800 homes and 4,300 residents.
There are two primary schools and a comprehensive school within the boundaries, together with 4 public houses and a small shopping centre at Teagues Bridge. Oakengates Town Centre is just outside the Parish boundary.
A major housing development of 750 homes is under construction on the edge of the Parish (mainly in the Parish of Ketley) – the Ketley Millennium Village.
