For Genealogical Enquiries the local Diocesan Record Office is:

The parish has moved between diocese over the centuries, starting out under Beaulieu Abbey as part of Salisbury Diocese. The county boundary change in the 1970s moved us from Berkshire into Oxfordshire. Our records, therefore, are scattered between Wiltshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire. A good starting point would be The Centre for Oxfordshire Studies, Westgate, Oxford followed by Berkshire Record Office, Reading.
