About our Parish

Our parish was formerly the parish of Stanwick St John, hence the village name, Aldbrough St John with the current parish church (formerly a chapel of ease) being dedicated to St Paul.
The village boasts the 2nd largest village green in England.
The church also houses a village information centre where leaflets on piblic services, local events, local tourist information etc can be collected.
