North Mymms

About our Parish

Welcome to the home page of St. Mary's Church, North Mymms in Hertfordshire, in the Diocese of St. Albans.

St. Mary's has been the parish church for the local community of North Mymms since the early 1300s, although records show the first rector as Thomas de St. Albans, appointed in 1237.

In the diocese of St. Albans, our friendly church is situated in a rural setting, on the edge of North Mymms Park. It is a quiet oasis off the busy A1 (M) serving the communities of Brookmans Park and Welham Green.

You can find us on the extension of Dixon's Hill Road, which is the road going towards Colney Heath and St. Albans from Welham Green.

Welham Green is the location of St. Mary's Church of England Primary School which has close links to the church.

2005 saw North Mymms becoming part of the Bishop's Hatfield Team Ministry together with the four Anglican Hatfield Churches and St. John's the Evangelist in Lemsford.
