Blandford Forum

About our Parish

Hundreds of years ago Blandford gained the name "forum" as the focal point for farmers and local businesses and little has changed in the years since - it is still a vibrant town, with the unmistakeable silhouette of the church of St Peter and St Paul in the central market place.

It is our hope and prayer that the unmistakeable personality of Jesus would be seen in the life of those who make up the people of this community, and I hope you will find something of this in the web site.

As a church we are seeking to build and grow further by meeting in small groups, whereby everyone can be encouraged to discover, explore and nurture their gifts, where they can find space to encounter Jesus through prayer and Bible study, where they can create a caring community that can encourage each other in both discipleship and evangelism. If you live near to Blandford, or are planning to visit the area, please contact our parish office office@bfpc.org.uk to find out more about how you could be involved in these Home Groups.
